Green roofs help to reestablish the natural water cycle, and is thus a major functionality of the roofs, especially in urban settings where the green roof can help cool the city (due to evapotranspiration) and also reduce the total annual water volume that ends up in the sewers. Despite this, the standards for measuring green roof retention is lagging behind.

I helped to make this video to show the issues with the current measuring methods that are really geared to get a max load value for the building’s statics calculations.

What are your thoughts on this?

How do you get the rain fall information in modeler? I did the podcast about it and for Poland most popular data sources are very old -over 100 years. Besides they are dated, they are about 50% underestimated.
