Ten years ago Japan was hit by a terrible earthquake and an even worse tsunami. Unfortunately in other parts of the world (especially Germany) the only thing remembered from these horrible events is the Fukushima accident. But the more than 15000 casualties are almost forgotten here. That’s why the German-Japanese choir where my wife and I are very active has decided to create a video to bring the terrible events back into memory. We interviewed some witnesses who had been in Japan at that time and some members of our choir report what they had seen themselves in that region shortly after the catastrophe. Additionally my wife explains what actually happened and why it was so bad.

Unfortunately the video is in German but English and Japanese subtitles are in the works. But for those who can understand German and are interested, here is the link to it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TvJFyrxjEl0

I will keep you updated as soon as subtitles are available.
