How do people feel about vaccine passports? The Royal Society has written a 12 criteria report for the deliverance of an effective vaccine passport (link in comments). This article from the Lancet is pretty comprehensive in the pro’s and con’s of the debate.

I’m against it. It would end up as usual: small elite would get vaccine and passport. Overall the rich go to Zanzibar without passports anyway, but but still it’s a small group.
The only reason to use would be imposing the vaccination over anti vaxers. They had to take a shot to go for a vacation.

The seem a legitimate request and it’s not like they’re anything new. They go back over a hundred years. So long as it’s for travel I don’t see anything objectionable except that a loophole would be needed for those who cannot get vaccinated for legitimate reasons (immuno-compromised, etc). Heck Canadians needed one to enter the US for a while. This stance, of course, presupposes equal and guaranteed access to vaccines for all.
Where I do see room for question is if they become a requirement to attend public events (plays, movies, shows, sports matches, etc) or enter certain buildings (schools, libraries, large centers, etc) .. in these cases they could only be viable if guaranteed access to vaccines was available for all and I’d still be uncomfortable with it.
